Our friendly, can-do/will-do Cooks know how to keep customers coming back again and again. Responsibilities include:
 
  • Roasting meats
  • Making soups & sauces from scratch
  • Making deli salads, dressings, and spreads
  • Creating party platters (fruit trays, veggie trays, sandwich trays, etc.)
  • Preparing appetizers
  • Making gourmet sandwiches and salads
  • Operating a meat slicer
  • Assisting other prep stations as needed, especially in our deli during our busy lunch rush
  • Assisting guests in our open kitchen

We operate Monday through Saturday and are closed on Sundays.

  • For full-time hours, one must be available Monday through Saturday and should expect to work 35-40 hours per week. Because we're in the business of saying "YES!" to our customers, we regularly schedule our FT staff for a six-day, 45-50 hour work week.
  • Part-time staff doesn’t have to be available every day but must be available to work at least three shifts each week. Generally, PT staff works between 15 and 25 hours per week. 

During the peak holiday season and for special events, the start and ending times of our workday may be adjusted. Not all shifts may be available at the time of application.



We seek a talented cook who:
 
  • Loves to work with the public
  • Possesses at least 6 months of food production experience (BOH) within the past five (5) years in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, banquet, catering or similar operation
  • Knows food, has good knife skills, and works quickly and precisely
  • Thrives in a busy, organized environment
  • Enjoys teamwork and helping customers
  • Seeks long-term employment---one year or more
  • Understands that hospitality staff works when others are playing, especially on Saturdays and during the Holiday Season (Nov. 1 through Dec. 31)
  • Welcomes a drug-free, smoke-free environment
  • Agrees to a pre-employment background check (criminal and driving)
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
