Our friendly, can-do/will-do kitchen manager knows how to keep customers coming back again and again. Responsibilities include:
  • Planning, organizing, and supervising all overnight food production and custodial staff (6 - 16 employees)
  • Upholding Wright's standards of excellence in food, service, and atmosphere
  • Recruiting, training, and retaining a friendly, eager-to-please, energetic, talented staff
  • Creating an organization that provides a positive Wright's experience for all parties: customers, staff, neighbors, and vendors

We have the following shift available:
  • Full-time (50-55 hrs/week). Generally the shift is from 9 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.*
  • During the initial training period for the Overnight Kitchen Manager training will be done during the day.
*Days off are from Saturday 7:00 A.M. to Sunday 9:00 P.M. plus one weekday shift (except for the holiday season and special events)

We seek a talented kitchen manager who:
  • Has strong BOH experience and skills in deli prep, cold & hot prep, baking (including cake decorating), and catering.
  • Works currently (or most recently) in a supervisory role (chef, manager, etc) for at least the past two (2) years in a high-volume operation (restaurant, hotel, banquet, catering or similar) that has a high-volume scratch kitchen.
  • Knows food, has excellent knife skills, and works quickly and precisely.
  • Welcomes the challenges of leading a diverse, talented staff.
  • Has good communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Uses a computer with confidence
  • Thrives in a busy, organized environment
  • Has experience in working overnight
  • Seeks long-term employment
  • Understand that hospitality staff works when others are playing, especially Saturdays and the Holiday Season (Nov. 1 through Dec. 31)
  • Welcomes a drug-free, smoke-free environment
  • Agrees to a pre-employment background check (criminal, driving, and credit)
